Interstellar
THE STORY
Sarakiniko — Another Planet
There are places on Earth that feel as though they belong somewhere else.
Sarakiniko, on the island of Milos, is one of them.
Carved by wind, salt and time, its brilliant white volcanic rock stretches into the Aegean like a landscape from another planet — stark, sculptural and almost completely untouched by colour. Against the deep Mediterranean blue, the scene feels less like Greece and more like a frame from Interstellar.
I took this photograph in one of those rare moments where the landscape felt completely surreal. The people moving across the rock become tiny against its vastness, giving the image a sense of scale — a reminder that we are only passing through these extraordinary places.
This print is a piece of that feeling: otherworldly, sun-soaked and suspended somewhere between Earth and another galaxy.
Sarakiniko, Milos, Greece — captured on 35mm film.
For the walls of someone who wants a little piece of somewhere that feels like another world.
