Ciao Positano
THE STORY
This image holds a very special place in my family’s heart.
We were spending the day exploring Positano, wandering through the streets and taking in the beauty of the coast while killing time before our ferry across to Capri.
As you can imagine, “killing time” quickly turned into getting completely lost in the beauty of it all.
We became so distracted by the streets, the ocean and the incredible views that we nearly missed our ferry.
Suddenly, we were running. - We only JUST made it. If you've ever had the pleasure of catching the ferry from Positano to Capri you would understand the stress of this situation.
As we were exiting the port, I lifted my camera and captured this.
There’s something about photographs taken while travelling with family that feels different. They become little time capsules of a place, but also of who you were together in that moment.
For me, this photograph will always be Positano — sun-drenched, chaotic, beautiful and shared with the people I love.
A memory from a day we almost missed the ferry, but somehow captured forever.
