Captured on the island of Ios, Greece.
There’s something beautiful about the way these little white churches sit high above the landscape, almost suspended between the earth and the sky.
In Greece, churches and chapels are often found perched on hills and high points — places that feel closer to the heavens, with views stretching endlessly across the Aegean.
I loved the simplicity of this one. A tiny structure standing alone against an enormous landscape, as if it had been placed there to watch over the island.
