THE STORY
This photograph was taken while exploring the dunes on the east coast of Australia with one of my best mates, Lily Broustail.
We were completely alone. Just rolling dunes stretching as far as we could see, with no one else in sight.
Getting there was half the adventure. We made our way across by boat in a tiny two-man tinny, carrying everything we needed for the shoot. It felt remote in a way that’s becoming harder and harder to find.
We spent the day wandering, shooting and taking it all in — the kind of day where you forget about everything beyond the landscape in front of you.

This image was shot on film, therefore grain & imperfections may be present, more-so in larger prints. This is the nature of film photography.
