PALM
The Story
Rome, Italia
We walked nearly 60,000 steps this day, exploring Rome with the kind of excitement that makes you forget your legs are slowly giving up on you.
Every street seemed to lead somewhere new. Every corner had another piece of history waiting to be discovered.
Eventually, we needed to stop.
We found a nearby park, sat down to rest our legs and took a moment to simply look around.
And there it was — a single palm tree framing the Colosseum.
Something about the contrast felt almost surreal. The ancient stone, the warm Roman light and the palm standing quietly beside it gave the Colosseum an almost oasis-like feeling.
After hours of walking through one of the busiest cities in the world, this moment felt incredibly still.
It’s one of those photographs that reminds me that sometimes the most beautiful moments happen when you stop looking for them.
Just a palm, an ancient monument and a quiet moment of rest in the middle of Rome.
Truly breathtaking.
